When did you start training in MMA?
I started training MMA 10 years ago with Marco Ruas getting my black belt in vale tudo in 3 years.
What made you want to become a fighter?
The first time i fought. I think you know if you want to be a fighter or not when your young. It’s in your heart.
What would you tell someone wanting to start a career in MMA?
It has to be from your heart or this sport can hurt you. Its lonely and hard being the only disciplined one out of your friends. It’s long hours and alot of pain….but well worth it.

Melvin Manhouf
If you couldn’t be a fighter what would you do?
I can’t honestly answer that. There’s nothing else to feed that primal hunger for a good scrap and the glory from the fans and your loved ones. Dont know what id be doing.
