Cro Cop’s domination of Anthony Perosh
Cro Cop absolutely dominated a much less experienced fighter in Perosh. One thing is for certain that if Cro Cop lost this fight he would have been removed from the UFC roster. This win did not move Cro Cop up in world rankings. This fight insured that Cro Cop will get another chance to fight his original opponent slotted for UFC 110, Ben Rothwell.
Cro Cop looked much bigger in his fight against Perosh. He used his boxing skills to dominate that fight and did not throw “his leg kick”. It still appears that after his loss to Gonzaga Cro Cop is still hesitant. He did not take the fight to the ground once during this fight, but why would he when he was so dominate standing.
This fight overall did nothing for Cro Cop besides earn him a paycheck. His fight against Rothwell will be the real test to determine if he is capable of fighting in the UFC. A win would be huge for Cro Cop, and would insure that we get to see him continue to fight in the UFC.
With a loss Cro Cop has the option to go and fight for Dream, or other organizations. If he loses against Rothwell I don’t think you will ever see him fight in the UFC again.
